In Room 2, we have been busy with making the most of all learning opportunities. The Enterprise inquiry topic is very interesting and we are buzzing because we get to group ourselves into enterprise groups like business companies and actually learn how to plan, design, market and advertise a type of service.
Room 2's enterprise focus is 'Helping Hands' where we will provide services to groups in our local school community that will make their lives easier and more comfortable. This is an example of a poster from the Hospitality Group who are providing a service to make Christmas goodie bags for young children.
Enterprise groups in Room 2:
Pet Care Service - walking pet dogs around the school block $5 per dog between 3pm and 4pm Monday to Fridays.
Entertainment Group - teaching year 6 students how to play cool and fun games including learning cup stacking.
Cleaning Machines Group - offering a car washing service $5 per vehicle.
Hello to the cleaning machines! I was very impressed with how well you cleaned my car last Friday...I don't think it has ever looked so shiny! Thank you so much for doing that for me. You even remembered to do the wheels and they look great.
